Joker King Slot Terms Glossary

Slot vocabulary specific to Joker King and high-volatility play. Definitions use Joker King examples where possible, not generic ones.

Rtp

Return to Player. The percentage of all money wagered that a slot pays back over millions of spins. Joker King's default RTP is 96.5%, meaning the math expects $96.50 returned for every $100 wagered. Pragmatic also ships 95.5% and 94.5% variants — check the in-game info panel before depositing.

Volatility

How wins are distributed: small and frequent (low volatility) versus rare and large (high volatility). Joker King is rated 5 out of 5 — the maximum. Expect long stretches without any meaningful win, broken by occasional bonus rounds where most of your return arrives.

Scatter

A symbol that pays regardless of position on the reels. In Joker King, the gold crown is the scatter — it carries a random multiplier (2× to 25×) and three or more on screen trigger the free spins round.

Wild

A symbol that substitutes for any paying symbol to complete winning combinations. Joker King's Wild is the joker character himself. Beyond standard substitution, when a Wild lands he transforms one random paying symbol type on the entire grid into more Wilds.

Multiplier

A number that multiplies a win. In Joker King, every crown scatter carries its own multiplier between 2× and 25×. Multiple scatters on the same spin add their multipliers together — six maxed scatters give 150× combined.

Free spins

A bonus round of spins that don't deduct from your balance. Joker King awards 8/10/15/20 free spins for 3/4/5/6 scatters. During the round, at least one Wild lands every spin, guaranteeing the transformation feature.

Paylines

Fixed patterns across the reels where matching symbols pay. Joker King has 25 paylines, all fixed (you cannot reduce them). Wins must start from the leftmost reel and run on adjacent reels.

Grid

The arrangement of reels and rows. Joker King uses a 6×4 grid: six reels, four rows. With only 25 paylines on this grid, the math relies on stacked symbols and wild transformations rather than ways-to-win flooding.

Max win

The cap on what a single base-game spin or bonus round can pay. Joker King caps at 5,000× the bet. Hitting it requires a near-perfect combination of full-screen wilds and 40× combined scatter multipliers — exceptionally rare.

Hit rate

The percentage of spins that produce any win, however small. Pragmatic does not publish Joker King's hit rate. Independent testers report base-game wins on roughly 25–30% of spins, with most of those returning less than the stake.

Autoplay

A feature that runs spins automatically. Joker King supports up to 100 autoplay spins with optional stop conditions: single win above $X, balance change above $X, or feature triggered. Use the stop conditions — they're more reliable than mid-session willpower.

Retrigger

When the bonus round triggers itself again from inside. In Joker King, landing 3+ scatters during free spins adds 8/10/15/20 more spins. There is no limit on retriggers — a single bonus can chain into several rounds.

Session bankroll

The amount of money you have allocated for a single play session. For a 5/5 volatility slot like Joker King, the working rule is 200–300× your stake to give the bonus round a realistic chance to land.

Variance

Mathematical synonym for volatility. High variance = wide spread between worst and best sessions. Two players spinning Joker King 500 times each can finish with wildly different balances; the long-run RTP only manifests over hundreds of thousands of spins.

Dry streak

A run of spins with no significant wins. In Joker King, dry streaks of 30–50 spins are routine because of the 5/5 volatility and low symbol values. Plan your bankroll around them rather than around average results.
